Don't know about these, I suppose they wouldn't be too bad as options for some players, but I certainly wouldn't want them to be integrated into the core. Is this mod still active? If so, I just have a small comment on the matter. It's currently just a concept. While I do think I'll be able to implement it successfully, there is still a lof of work being done with money as far as I can see. Shopping becomes a thing and more services become available....

They are canonically dunmer, even in Daggerfall. The non-dunmer look is a bug, not a feature. :) Definitely! Especially considering that Dark Elf player will have dark skin and red eyes, while these characters somehow wouldn't... Later on it was explained by make up, but I somehow am not convinced....

Looks pretty good to me! The shape is similar and it still has that worn look. The material and color both seem also fairly similar to the original. Don't think it looks wooden, although it is flat, so it's missing a bit of shape I think. Maybe normal maps can fix it, if they can be used. Still, ove...

Good job on these textures! They look pretty sweet, though maybe a little too fresh. You know, it's just my feeling, but I do feel that maybe some extra roughness/dirt/rust/cracks, etc. will make them a little more believable. Daggerfall is magical, but fairly grim, so I feel that it needs more wear...

I think if you just restrict action to unidentified items and make clicking on identified not do anything, it will work. After all, the only reason you would click on identified item is by mistake, there is no other reason to do it. It might lead to a few seconds of confusion "Why doesn't it go...

I might be wrong, but I don't remember finding clothes on human NPCs ever in classic Daggerfall. It's weird when I think about it, but they never seemed to drop any if I remember correctly. Mostly found clothes in loot piles and stores.

Yes, the messaging style of chat windows is actually a really nice find, Nystul! It's organic and intuitive,works really well, I think. It's a bit weird seeing it in such an old game, but from the practical standpoint - it's excellent!

Enemies can continue to move some (1/4 speed) while attacking. I'm not 100% sure about this because the animations for enemies do look like they should be standing still and not "sliding" along the floor, but the player can move while attacking and IMO it's too easy to defeat enemies in D...
