Re: Daggerfall Unity 0.4.x - "Fighters" Update

Welcome to the forums. :) If the quest expires out due to taking too long, the quest giver should give you a failure message. It's possible the quest is still running. You can check which quests are active by opening the quest debugger with LeftShift+Tab then use [ and ] keys to cycle through active...

Re: Video Thread

Make sure you grab the "youtu.be" link from the "share" button in youtube first. Then try pasting it between bbcode on a single line like below.

Code: Select all

It should come out like this.

That would be awesome, thanks Nash. And no rush - only do stuff in your own time. :)

Re: Create a release archive on GitHub

The project needs to be built with either the Unity editor locally or Unity Cloud Build. If you clone the project repo to your computer and open it with Unity 2018.1.2f1 (or closest Linux version available), you can build with Unity in the usual way. Fundamentally there won't be any difference to ju...

Re: Create a release archive on GitHub

Welcome to the forums. :) I've considered doing this, but would like to wait until the project is further along (most likely post 1.0). Right now we're cycling through updates very rapidly and I prefer to have the releases available through Unity Cloud Build for their short lifetime. I would also li...

Re: Diseases. My lycanthropy story

That was a fun read thank you. :) I experienced something similar on my first play through. I had no idea it was possible to become a vampire, or what the dream meant beforehand. I was confused by everything , and it barely registered. So when I ended up inflicted with vampirism around level 5, it w...

Re: Conversation bug

Has there been any lucking fixing this bug? Even the lastest build has the dialog going crazy. Something to keep in mind is this isn't just one bug. It was about 20-30 different problems causing a similar looking issue during play. I had fixed most of these in the back end, then accidentally introd...

Re: Upgrading Project to Unity 2018.1.2f1

I'm not sure on this one. I'm using VS2017 (Pro) as well and don't get this one. Thread below indicates it might be an issue with needing to update.

https://github.com/Unity-Technologies/A ... /issues/66

Let me know if you make any progress. :)

Re: Upgrading Project to Unity 2018.1.2f1

I don't plan to manage it for very long, just a week or two. Builds are run cloud side so I probably won't even need to open in 5.5 again on my end, only send a few minor changes across. But in theory, it should be fine to switch branch and own in appropriate version though. The project and code fil...
