Re: Dragonbreak Build #92 (linux) resting does not heal hp loss [GAME-FILE RELATED]

It's in your Arena2 folder - part of the game files you must provide to Daggerfall Unity. Once I know where things went wrong with the faction file, I can either improve the parser or add a new validation step. My feeling is your original game files were not patched to .213. The GOG installer defini...

Re: Dragonbreak Build #92 (linux) resting does not heal hp loss [GAME-FILE RELATED]

Interesting, I've not had any problems with the GOG files in the past. Did you try the DaggerfallGameFiles.zip at all?

It would be appreciated if you were able to send me a zipped copy of your FACTION.TXT file. I'd be interested to learn what is failing to parse.

Re: Can't choose screen resolution

Welcome to the forums. :) You can't really change resolution from inside the editor, the internal display is locked to what is effectively "editor resolution". Although in the Windows Unity Editor it still enumerates available resolutions, so not really sure what's gone wrong there. If you...

Re: Main quests and guilds

Welcome to the forums. :) Yes, the main quest is playable from start to finish. This was the primary goal of the 0.4 feature cycle. We'll soon be transitioning into 0.5 in which spells & effects are the key feature. Guilds are are scheduled for 0.7 on the roadmap (items in green are completed).

Re: Dragonbreak #92 Win, Exit location from dungeon changed

Were you guys using "set_runspeed" from console before this happened? This has been known to cause world desynchronisation issues like this one.

Re: Dragonbreak #92 Win, Exit location from dungeon changed

Cheers, will look at this when I can. Generally the only thing which influences terrain height is mods (e.g. far terrain has a different scale) or modifying the terrain scale directly. Not sure what happened in this case. Small graveyards are built mostly from border blocks, which are open on all si...

Re: Windows #30: Monster Colliders too big.

Yep, it's a known issue and needs a specific set of changes to fix. Work will continue on this as player and enemy motors are slowly refactored to address some of these problems. If anyone is stuck like this, aim crosshair at ground ahead and use "teleport" console command to zip past the ...

Re: The Big Hello Thread

Welcome to the forums Auditor. :) Creating quests is a fun way to build something for Daggerfall Unity. They're moderately easy to build and creatively satisfying. Jay_H's tutorials are really excellent. He's also very knowledgeable about all the systems and more than happy to help people. If you're...
