Re: Commoner quest related bug

looks good to me ;) thx for fixing this. Everything you write makes perfect sense and yes you understood the root of the problem (in contrast to me when writing this code in the first place) was a stupid mistake of mine. This happens when you don't understand all aspects of a problem - sry for that ...

Re: quest A0C00Y11 - lastAssignedPlaceSymbol for _healer_ person resource null

The quest is using a variant of "create npc" that is not currently handled by DFU. I'll look at adding this soon. yeah I think this is the issue. When looking at the quest code I was confused because I could not find any npc placement. talkmanager will handle null in the way that it just won't show...

quest A0C00Y11 - lastAssignedPlaceSymbol for _healer_ person resource null

git user KirillSmirnov pointed out a bug with quest A0C00Y11: pc is sent to remote town to find healer - when there healer can not be asked about in dialog - reason is that function Person.GetAssignedPlaceSymbol() returns null and thus talkmanager can not do the test if person is in same location as...

Re: implementation of talk window

starting from you save dialog seems to work but the location given does not exist or is not revealed: "The Rat and Badger" - there is no such location on region map btw, the quest version you sent to me does not contain any familymember npc #update: restarting the quest from scratch sent me to "Yeom...

Re: Cant load save in current LB 64X #32

pull request issued with better handling of loading obsolete ConversationData basically some null-pointer checks to prevent uncaught exceptions and more important loaded ConversationData is checked for quest resource and rumor entries of orphaned quests that are no longer running. This should fix pr...

Re: implementation of talk window

wait, are you trying to reveal a dungeon from rumors? if yes, this does not work currently. npc can only give directional info for the moment. Is there a quest in classic that does this? If not we could come up with a solution if this is needed ;) We would need to use a macro though to do it. the na...
