Re: The DFU Character Thread

And now, to step into the ever-widening world of Daggerfall Unity with new eyes! EDIT: C'ifyle's dead. Time to start a new one! Lol I love how you set up all his goals and rules, and were so eager to jump into the world. Then, abruptly: "He's dead, Jim." I never saw the post before the ed...

That being said, I defi...

Hello again! Is Unity 5.5.0 still the current baseline?

Hey all, so glad to see this project is still coming along well. I wanted to contribute much more, but real life responsibilities kicked in hard shortly after I found the project. Still not sure how much time I'll have to start contributing again; I'm still slammed with work for the rest of this mon...

Seconded. This is fantastic work and is going to have the biggest impact on turning Daggerfall into a modern game

Re: Introduction and Contribution (Starting controls interface)

Well I've been working on the classic keybind interface for about the past half hour, getting all the buttons working and positioned correctly. Should be ready to commit and send pull request in an hour or so. I was thinking that we could stick with the classic keybinds interface for now, and maybe ...

Re: Introduction and Contribution (Starting controls interface)

Yeah, I definitely agree. Just checking because part of the keybinds interface changes based on whether you're using cursor mode or mouse look. But that brings up the question: what should we do with the mouse controls window, since the classic interface gives you the option to choose? Just use a cu...

Re: Introduction and Contribution (Starting controls interface)

Thanks Interkarma. Do we plan on implementing the classic control scheme with the HUD bar at the bottom and clicking around the screen edges to move, or only mouse look?
