Re: A few mod ideas

I'd like to add some of my ideas as well, if you dont mind, noble dudes. - Add music volume slider (Music gets annoying pretty fast for me). - Add more variation for repeating sounds (Footsteps, weapon swings, armor sounds and so on). - Force use of original models and textures in 3D map instead of ...

CRPG book is out

Hey there folks, It's quite offtopic from DFU but nonetheless I wanted to spread the word. A project by Felipe Pepe of the book on CRPG games history recently was finished. I thought maybe somebody of you may get interested (There's an article about Daggerfall too). It is free and can be downloaded ...

Re: DaggerXL texture replacement project

Guys, it's just a mistake AlexanderSig did in one of the brick textures :). I don't know if he fixed it already (not checked last pack yet). If not, he needs to make a square selection of the brick area and rotate it 180 degrees.

Re: DaggerXL texture replacement project

Good stuff, but i have to agree with TheLacus, painted occlusion was too strong. I toned it down a bit. By the way, there is also a new floor and ceiling textures on the AlexanderSig's screenshots!

Ok, but what about height maps? Can I enable them using xml code like Nystyl did with metallic gloss in his Realtime Reflections mod?

Question about textures

I just wanted to ask does DaggerfallUnity supports height maps for textures? I was playing around with texturing in Unity, and got some nice looking results. I think modern Daggerfall can use those, especially for floors and brick walls. heightmap_test.jpg Also, i'm wondering what texture formats ga...

Re: Modern Interface

This new inventory definitely is going to be better than original. But i think it could be pushed even further. I came up with this layout concept. What do you think, is it possible to implement it?

I was assuming you are too busy with other things, but if it's not a big deal for you, i will happily handle this job to the pro :)

Re: Enhanced Sky

I recently tried this mod and want to share some of my ideas: 1) With sun of this size, Tamriel would be a scorched land! I think it should be decreased in size. 2) Is it possible to replace skybox in this mod? In comparison with vanilla, skybox in this mod seems bland and empty to my taste. I can f...

Re: Post Processing Effects

Looks cool! Though I don't see any difference in FXAA and DoF screenshots. I would also like to have a HDR, lens flares and sunrays like in this screenshot: Image
(and also be able to add height maps for terrain textures, but thats for another topic)
