Re: Merging Mods, Collaborating

Aaaah, in my previous post when I wrote GitHub, I meant GitHub Desktop, the thing you linked. And to do the rebase I also installed Git, since I have not seen any option like that in GitHub Desktop. Ok, syncing worked, thanks for the help. :) BTW: What does it mean when in GitHub web I see "This bra...

Re: Merging Mods, Collaborating

Thx, I have zero experience in using git. I suppose the "rebase" can not be done with GitHub? So I have installed git right now, and tried your magic... :D Seems to have worked, now the code on my HDD is on par with latest Interkarma's code as I understand it. My question(s) now is, how do I sync my...

Re: Merging Mods, Collaborating

Thx for answer, just to make clear, by "fetch and merge" you mean to create a pull request:
ifkopifko/daggerfall-unity <--- Interkarma/daggerfall-unity?

Or is there some other way to do it?

Re: Merging Mods, Collaborating

Hey there everyone. I would have a quick question so that I would no mess something up... :D When my current cotribution to the project is finished (changes merged with Interkarma's master), should I just delete my current forked repository (ifkopifko/daggerfall-unity)? So in the future, if/when I'l...

Re: Daggerfall Mechanics thread: Volunteers welcome

Ok, so just tested some wild combinations and seems to work as intended. Phew, you had me worried a bit. :D And sorry for the formatting issues, will remember not to use tabulators in the future. About the "premature merging": I just wanted to correct the spell constants during my free time in work ...

Re: Daggerfall Mechanics thread: Volunteers welcome

Hey, I might have made some mistake, did not plan to create a pull request correcting the offsetGold values and getting rid of "factor" until this evening, when I can check the changes are working. Seems like editing my branch, which has been set for the previous pull request from yesterday automati...

Re: Seeking good place to slide around slopes

No sure, but I do not recall any sliding down slopes in Daggerfall. Some of the dungeon blocks had awfully steep corridors, implementing sliding mechanics could make them not walkable. Unless you make a difference indoors vs outdoors.

Re: Daggerfall Mechanics thread: Volunteers welcome

Actually, I would like to volunteer to tackle this small task myself (streamlining your code and correcting/filling in the correct a, b, and offset values). If you have no objections that is. I am not a coder and could not create anything on my own, but modifying something so well documented as your...

Re: Daggerfall Mechanics thread: Volunteers welcome

Would someone be able to provide a savegame with 100 all-skill character for retesting one spellmaker spell please? Interkarma> Hey, where did that github link go? I have taken a look at it earlier today and indeed, you have done it in a very elegant way (at least the parts I could understand). My b...
