Real-time skill increases

Talk about the mods you'd like to see in Daggerfall Unity. Give mod creators some ideas!

Real-time skill increases

I believe skills are now in their permanent state, which suggests to me moddability. Does anyone know how difficult it would be to make skills increase in real time rather than after resting?

Hate to burst your bubble chaps, but from what I know of that area of the code it's not easily moddable.

Yeah, too bad. But sort of on this topic, I feel even base DFU could improve on the character/skill tooltip info to make it easier to track your leveling progress within each skill and overall. I've been collecting some ideas in the first post in this topic you saw earlier: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1042. Not sure if all of those are even possible, but I think they'd all be significant UI enhancements down the road.
