[mod idea] Couriers
Have couriers deliver mails and depart instead of mail popping up out of thin air.

Doesn't this happen in vanilla anyway via flavour text?

Yes. And in Nethack when played under Unix it used to spawn a postman character in game each time you received an email IRL.
I think it could be fun to have some NPC actively approaching you then depart. Of course they're technical challenges...

I always enjoyed out running the couriers in later elder scrolls and fallout games. Make them work for that delivery

Re: [mod idea] Couriers
Reminds me of when a friend and I were first trying out Daggerfall. We climbed to the top of a very large house with a lot of effort, and right afterwards a courier came by, panting and exhausted, giving me a letter. We practically died laughing, thinking the poor fellow had to climb up there with us.
