hello moders

Post by lxgm »

hi. recently i got my hands on blender and im a bit interested for some practice.
if any moder wants some help with bringing 3d to dfu, let me know.

other than that, i wonder, 3d takes more space in already tight places. so, making 3d objects instead of the 2d, will that be a good idea? i have a problem with quest targets not spawning in a small house. i think the game might be running out of spawn space.

Hi lxgm!

You may have come across Handpainted Model Replacement Project by AlexanderSig. It is a collection of 3D models that replaces most 2D world props. He has a master list on the mod's main page that shows which models have been replaced. You may look there for gaps to fill in.

I believe l3essed was looking for someone to make 3D models for the first person weapons if that interests you.

I could use some modeling help too. I need clothes modeled for NPCs.

These are the areas that I can think of at the moment that might could benefit from a 3D modeler.

thats my vision of how dfu shall look in 3d. unity3d cant handle any better, anyway.
its a shot in the dark, as i have no clue how to make a useful model.

That really doesn't look half-bad. This could be useful with only minor tweaks.

Not sure where you came up with the assumption that "unity3d cant handle any better, anyway" though.
