It looks fantastic! May I ask about the process you use to create those new flats? You redraw it from scratch, just looking at the original? I know You use ArtRage and chalk tool but thats it... How long it takes on avarage to recreate one? Im very curious, thanks ;)

I scale-up the original exported PNG
I import it into ArtRage as a Layer.
I then create a new Layer on top of that, and paint on the new layer.
I use the eyedropper to select from the Layer below and also regularly hide my current painting layer, to look at the one below.

How long does it take?

For the small green plants it's only a couple hours.
For the larger trees including the last one, it takes i suppose 4 sessions.
Sessions are untimed hours, but probably 3-4 hours at a time.
But the time is also interpersed with a little internet surfing and tea drinking.

I've moved onto the 511-SnowMountains now.
This is #5, jeez the original PNG was poor, you can see the holes when set against a black background.Image

I think it does....(sorry  ). I find the "ball" ontop to be distracting as well. I wish I could give advice instead of just criticism, but I have no artistic ability at all

This is the #2 tree of 511.
I realize i have a tendency of making branches thinner than they are in the original.
It's something i've been aware of but It's weird how they just keep turning out that way despite my intentions.

Thanks for keeping us updated, both new trees look very good! In regards to the 1st one and the mentioned "ball" on the top, the remake is missing the stem/strain on the top of the tree, above the "ball". Dunno if its a artistic decission to make it this way, or you overlooked it. But to me, the remake looks really good eitherway. Good job mate, glad to have you here!
