One simple solution would be to cut the models up into pieces and make them replace the individual original meshes like these

There's thousands of these models so this would be insanely time consuming but totally possible using only the resources we have now with no additional programming work.

Hmm yeah that might work. Good logistic would be paramount in that case, for connection and tracking all the elements for ingame build up and also for 3D modeling work.

Yeah, Im looking this Modeling tool Beta for DF. Yeah those element could be easely replaced. This should be tested. Does anyone here knows how to replace building morels (or at least their parts)?

In this modeling viewer, every element has just a number and normal search is impossible.

Fantastic stuff, guys.
I'am noob, but is there any way to edit city blocks? Current cities are not look like cities not because only buildings, but because how they placed. If you edit old cells and add new one to world you may make cities look more realistic and detailed

@Jay_H
Cheers. ;)

Ill just repost these old tests here. Also if anyone knows how to replace separate building models in one block, I could try to do another test and remake some 3D building?

Hi !

Amazing stuffs here, I was thinking if it's possible to make NPC model like the "TES Adventures: Redguard" ones ?
I saw 3D NPC models on the forum, great work too, but I dunno, it seems too flat/cartoonish and too "modern" to me.

I think Redguard models-style is the best compromise beetween Daggerfall art style, and modern 3D.

Here's an image for example :

What do you think ? (Woups, maybe wrong topic ?)
