Alright, let's try this again... less pristine and saturated now.

Way batter. Just always analyze the original texture and its color chart and try to reproduce exactly that. CheersAlexanderSig wrote:Alright, let's try this again... less pristine and saturated now.

Re: DaggerXL texture replacement project
That last one is pure beauty! OMG, so nice.
Regarding the stone walls - I still find that the larger bordering stone bricks look too plastic. I think it may be the cleaness of the edge colours but my art is strictly black and white stick figure level so I doubt I'm right. It may also look fine in 3d motion, but not the pic. Certainly the rest looks way better, and you could definitely call it good... just giving my opinion. (as someone who doesn't use and gfx enhancements at all!)
EDIT: Let me say as well that I think you're doing an amazing job man.

Be mindful of the color palette (color chart) of the original textures, you have to follow them more closely. If you start changing it, it will change Daggerfall's soul.AlexanderSig wrote:Thanks!

This look beautiful AlexanderSig, well done!
If you want to get all the quest gunk out of your screens, you can use LeftShift+Tab to cycle through the quest debugger display states (minimum, full, and completely off). I'll have the debugger enabled by default until the quest system is fairly robust, so added this display cycle so you guys can take better screens without my stuff printed all over them.

Re: DaggerXL texture replacement project
Tex 344. The ceiling tex here is exactly the same as the one used in the taverns that VMBlast already re-made. Only difference is that it's rotated by 90° so I just took VMBlast's ceiling tex and rotated it.
Not too happy with the floorboards, will probably change them.
