Edit - I just noticed in my tavern picture. Is part of the table to the left made of some sort of stone or dirt? It doesn't match the wood at the front of the table that the tavernkeep stands behind. Just wondering if that's intentional or not lol.

Get a DREAM Taverns compatibility patch.. its released with taverns

If you convert to JPG it compresses them and makes them quite a bit smaller. PNG is lossless compression so it can't get them as small, but it (theoretically, at least) looks better. I like PNG since you can edit it repeatedly without introducing seven million layers of compression artifacts, but I don't think you'll really notice the difference in quality between PNG and 90% quality JPG compression for final output, and the JPG is like a quarter the size.

Do you have SDF font rendering enabled in the main menu? That makes it look a lot better (doesn't affect the Advanced button though).

SDF fonts are used in a loose texts like books etc, but the issue he talked about is the baked-in texts - basically a textures. So SDF will not solve it. Just a note :) Also, SPOILER function is your friend .)

Today I contacted Vomitaburger, he made some breton faces http://forums.dfworkshop.net/viewtopic. ... 87a93fd963 but disappeared 6 months back, Ive found his reddit account which appears active, so I wrote for a permission to use his heads... I just hope he agrees, Ive spend few days on em already. Cut em out, cleaned, resized so they fit the bodies, recolored so they fit, micromanaged em to fit in the helmets etc... so fingers crossed :X

The button is part of the DFU source. It's located at Assets -> Resources -> advanced_control_button.png.

I'm not sure how to place the file in StreamingAssets to replace it. I tried putting a (crappy) upscaled version in Streaming Assets\Resources\advanced_control_button.png, Resources\advanced_control_button.png, and Streaming Assets\advanced_control_button.png, and none of them affected the in-game file.

Nice. But I like your existing Face1 and Face9 better.

I will reuse those for some other faces which are not already HD, so they will not disappear. I wanted to have this set in one style. That is - if I even get the permission to use the new faces, which I really hope for

EDIT: I will reuse the 9-0 face as a nord 1-0... these faces of nords 0-0 and 1-0 are the same in vanilla, so this will add some more variants to choose from, and the head has nordic look to me, more than Khajiit..

Thanks for info, but until we can replace it in the streaming assets, theres no way to solve it :X That will need someone to open that button for modding in a same way other assets were opened. The Lacus used to do it...

Found it: Streaming Assets\Textures\advanced_controls_button.png. Just had to dig through a couple scripts in the Unity project to figure out where it was looking.

I dont have this font, so I copied the letter from other words and added the same shadow setting to them, looks proper ingame :) Thanks a lot for information, I will add this file to next DREAM release in the HUD&MENU section. Here it is for anyone who does not want to wait for it, or for testing purposes.

Would you be so kind and provide me with the save files for the males? It really helps a lot if I can skip these aspects and just focus on drawing and fine-tuning of the art. I have updated the Nexus/Forums credits with your name already and contribution, as you helped a lot

Males here

So I'm noticing a bunch of issues with the body art. I'd been focusing on the helm-to-head issues and hadn't seen the neck-to-head issues. The neck needs to extend up a bit more to hide properly behind all the heads, so you get an obvious head hovering over a neck stump. Alternately, you might be able to scale the heads vertically a bit to cover the seam without the head seeming too wonky.

I also noticed a bunch of heads have hair that looks a bit wonky with a helm on. I'm not sure if the head blanking area just needs to be extended further down or what.

There's also an issue with some models that the right-side waist(their left) doesn't line up with any of the chest or leg armors very well. It's like size 40 pants on a size 32 dude.

Okay: Breton, Redguard, Nord, Argonian
Bad: Dark Elf, High Elf, Wood Elf, Khajiit

I noticed that the Chain Greaves fit the Khajiit guy pretty well, so I figured they wouldn't fit the wider races, but it looks like there's a different model for the Breton Chain Greaves that fits him fine. I'm wondering if some of the races just got the wrong models attached to them somewhere?

Leather Greaves is really distorted on all characters.

Neck Stumps:
Breton 0, 2, 3, 6, 8, 9

Redguard 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7

Nord are fine.

Dark Elf 2, 8, kinda 9 (I can tell because I know what I'm looking at, but it's easy to not see it)

High Elf 1, 2, kinda 4, 9

Wood Elf kinda 8

Khajiit are fine.

Argonian 1, 3, 7 (3 is offset to the right a bit.)
