Realistic Wagon
A mod for making the horse and wagon act more realistic.

The mod is bug free (as far as I know) but is still very much a work in progress.


Summary

• If you have a horse, you must ride it.
• If you have a wagon, you must drive it.
• You need a horse to pull the wagon.
• You cannot levitate with horse or wagon.
• You cannot climb with horse or wagon
• You can dismount your horse or unhitch the wagon.
• You can name your horse when you buy it.

Plans

Add console command for making the wagon/horse appear in case of bugs.

Possibility to access the wagons inventory by clicking on it.

Have the wagon and horse appear onboard your ship.

New wagon model / skin.

New horse sprite.

Affect wagon controls. Possibly making it harder to turn.

Horse and Wagon speed affected by encumbrance.

Horse and wagon wear and tear from use. Possibly leading to the horse dying or the wagon breaking down.

Leaving the horse and wagon might cause them to be stolen.

Stealing Horse and Wagon.

So, basically, your horse and cart become physical objects in the world, meaning if you want to travel elsewhere, you need to take them with you? Neat!

Yeah. The perhaps biggest effect of this mod:
you can't just pack your wagon and horse into your pocket to climb/jump around and then have them magically appear when you need them.
Also, if you have a wagon you can't just ride your horse while the wagon is... where?

Added ability to... NAME YOUR HORSE!

This looks like a great mod!

I have upscaled horse sprites if you want them. I'm still working on cleaning up the transparency around the edges. The 4x vanilla resolution looks fine, but the 8x version needs some work. Either way, it will provide a good base for you to add onto if you want to put a saddle or harness of some type on it.

Now I'm regretting calling the mod "Realistic Wagon" as the horse name might be the biggest part of the mod
Oh well, I didn't want to give it too long of a name.
