56 Luck here. Just started my new character. An archer died to a guard (VIO mod). I searched his corpse and found a used Adamantium axe :D

I might need to adjust down the odds. I honestly already thought it was too hard to get good items. We'll see. Might just have been a fluke.

Yes, yes, I only want the dropchances of high-quality loot to decrease.
While I'm a fan of hardcore gaming, other players may not like it.

New update.

v0.1.1

New odds for loot from enemies and loot piles:
(Luck affects these rolls)

60% Leather
40 % Chain
10 % Plate


Material for plate/weapons
Outside dungeon has a random but generally lower odds.
Dungeon difficulty affects chance. So the ones that spawn mostly daedras or vampires have good odds. Spider and bear caves bad odds.

35% Iron
40% Steel
8% Silver
7% Elven
10% High Tier Test

High Tier Test
Luck/10 % chance of getting lucky. (So a Luck 50 character has a 5% chance of being lucky)
Unlucky: Dwarven
Lucky: High Tier

High Tier
(Straight roll, no Luck involved)
0.5% Daedric
3.5% Orcish
6% Ebony
40% Adamantium
60% Mithril

Excellent! Until my 25th level character with a luck of 65, nothing worthwhile drops out in the loot (only iron, steel, sometimes silver and 25-50 gold).

Unleveled Loot v0.1.2
Tweaked up the chance in dungeons of getting chain or plate. (Based on dungeon type)
Tweaked up the chance of daedric drops from daedras slightly.
Tweaked down the chance of leather, to give more room for chain/plate.
Fixed the chance of getting chain or better in shops. (Was a bug in the math here, midtier+ only got plate)

Material drops in the wilderness are generally poor.
Material drops in dungeons are increased by dungeon difficulty.
