Temples and military arms
The UESP says all temples have military arms e.g Kynaran Order. Do these actually appear in game anywhere? I can only find temples, and no separate buildings for the orders.

I found a temple order once (I forgot of which deity though, and also don't remember where), the building layout is different from the regular temple but AFAIK it's still the same thing. I didn't play around much with it though.

Re: Temples and military arms
Okay, so can anyone tell me where I can find one to check that it works properly with guild code when I do it?

In the Isle of Balfiera, a city called Blackhead has an Order of the Hour instead of the ordinary Akatosh Chantry. That's one example I found poking around right now. Handy list: http://project-tamriel.com/viewtopic.php?t=296

I know you can ask about them along with the other factions in the "About" section, so they were probably meant to be playable. That's about all I know of.

Thanks Jay, now here's hoping all the IDs are identical and it will need 0 extra work!Jay_H wrote:In the Isle of Balfiera, a city called Blackhead has an Order of the Hour instead of the ordinary Akatosh Chantry.

Re: Temples and military arms
Well it needs extra work alright. The wierd thing is that isle of Balfira has a city Upvale with Temple of Dibella and Order of the Hour (Akatosh) in the same city. Dibella is not supposed to be in that region.
Also, I cannot find a normal Akatosh temple anywhere - can anyone help with this? Or finding a different order building?
Wondering if this is something else that never got finished, and temple of Akatosh (Akatosh Chantry) were replaced with Order of Hour everywhere..
My goodness when you take a magnifying glass to daggerfall you realise it's a wonder it was as bug free as it was. (I know)

Re: Temples and military arms
Temples of any deity can appear in any city. Some regions have a "patron saint" of sorts where you'll find a certain temple in most of the cities. Daggerfall's is Kynareth, for example.
Let me take a look for Akatosh Chantries, to see what I can find.

If you spot any other orders on your travels, that would be good too.

Re: Temples and military arms
I can't find any Akatosh Chantries at all, and I don't seem to be the only one. Most likely the Order of the Hour erroneously replaces the Chantry at least in name, since the NPCs inside all are members of the Chantry. Attempting to join their faction makes you a member of the Chantry, not the Order of the Hour.
I'm willing to posit that the Order of the Hour is the black sheep, and no templar orders are actually meant to exist on the overworld. I have no recollection of finding any of the templar orders in Daggerfall.
The closest possible thing I can think of is the Fighters Trainers, which is a holy order in Hammerfell. But it's not the same thing.
