Other Open Source projects like Daggerfall Unity to work at

Hello everyone! I'm Carlos Humberto (new at the forum). Sorry for not saying hello at the Hello post... I'm not too much into forums. :oops:

I wanted to ask over here about this because I couldn't find topics related to this question of mine... But I wanted to find more open source projects of RPG games like Daggerfall Unity so I could participate on it and get more experience on it.
I'm a software developer, more to backend. i know that I'm not a game developer, but I want to get my hands on it to learn more (sadly, I'm neither an artist).
I've been following this Daggerfall Project since 2017 and I know that they're like at the final steps of the project, so it's not a good idea to get some inexperienced developers into it... And that's why I'm looking for other ones.
In the future I plan to do some mods for Daggerfall Unity too :) but it'll also depends on my future skills :D
So, that's it. Don't destroy me if I've made this post in a wrong way :D
And I'll greatly appreciate any help :P

Thank you very much! (Incredible how I haven't found this Wiki page lol, probably due to the fact that English is not my main language)
I'll take a look at those projects and look for people who are using Unity, so it'll be easier for me to come back here and do some crazy huge mods over Daggerfall Unity :)

In my opinion, Daggerfall is a really crazy project that was done back in the days! The size of the map is amazing! Of course, the game couldn't implement more complex stuff to it in the past due to the technology of that moment ... but now we can :)

In the future, I plan to change the game (Yeaaaah I'm evil, the guys are doing a huge work to make it like the original I KNOW ... but I've never played the game at the time because I was young and poor, without a PC). I'm thinking about adding some complex features of IA on it and also try to make the whole game more like a sandbox type. Change the cities sizes .... houses/castles structures .... to try to make it bigger :)

The problem is the lack of animated character sprites ... I like the static sprites of the NPCs, but I wish I could make an animated version of all of them (in case I wanted to put a Follower System on the game).

Damn .... I wish I had that many ideas for my real life job projects :lol:
