Anisotropic filtering in v0.13.4 doesn't work. It worked fine in v0.12.3
After 5m or so, the ground is blurry.
Anisotropic filtering is of course activated (x16) in the Nvidia Control Panel
OS: Windows 10
Version 21H2
GPU: GTX 970 latest drivers available as of today
Does it work for you?

Re: Anisotropic filtering doesn't work
Anisotropy never worked on the ground. It has set level. And its set so-so in a way it does not start to be jagged mess at distance. Still, its kind of blurry, yes. Its a tradeoff.. I believe it could be pushed a bit further, but thats just a theory. I remembee Pango created this and I quite believe he did what was possible. Ground is just a different beast in DfU than all the other surfaces, unfortunatelly
Enabling some kind of reshade sharpening helps a bit with that

Re: Anisotropic filtering doesn't work
Thanks for the answer KoW.
But I remember it working perfectly fine and crisp on the ground as well in 0.12.3... And I was playing it (0.12.3) still a month ago. I remember immediately noticing anisotropy being much worse when I switched to 0.13.4.
How can it be? Mandela Effect? Mhhh...
