Hi, I might be late to the party but texture pack 0.2 was put together by me. Its a pack of all textures which were found around the net, most of them are from old DXL forums and were recovered by alexandersig, I "just" put em in a correct format and correct naming. Terrain flats from Jmanowar are bugged in some places, but that has NOTHING to do with the actual flats, but more with a coding stuff I dont have a clue about. It will be solved by other members. Heres the complete list of contributors and the things they added, those readme files were also put together by me, basically all the documentation as well.
- Wheybags: Dungeons
- Byth: Dungeons
- PatchyPegleg: Dungeons & Misc.
- Levethian: Architecture
- StoneFrog: Architecture, Misc. & Quest
- VMBlast: Mages Guild int, Tavern int & Sign, Doors
- Ghost Line: Temperate Terrain
- Jman0war: Terrain Flats (Sets 504 - 511)
- Epicurius7 & Jman0war: NPC Flats (182_1, 182_10, 182_11, 182_17)
- King of Worms: Convert/Rename files for DFU - Documentation, Sorting
Also, I made the texture pack in a way you can choose what textures you want to use, so its not a monolithic design but a
SELECTABLE INSTALLATION
Copy files from the folders:
1 - General Textures (Contributors)
2 - Terrain Flats (Jman0war)
3 - NPC Flats (Epicurius & Jman0war)
4 - Interior Textures (VMBlast)
5 - Temperate Terrain
to
"DaggerfallUnity_Data\StreamingAssets\Textures"
When things progress more, I will add the files in the pack and release v0.3, if that will be needed
Hope this helps, thanks.
To Jmanowar - completely understand your situation mate, you did huge ammount of work and some rest is needed! And I get it how when you stalled on a moving NPCs it messed up with your workflow. I suggest taking a time off and than get back to what you did so awesome work on - the terrain flats
I hope to see you soon in action and I hope all is ok with you. I also have some RL things to deal with, and I felt the pressure to continue with my retexture stuff, but RL is RL and when you cant, than you cant. Thats how it is. Be well mate!
