OSX #115 & #116: NPC dialogue loops in Daggerfall [RESOLVED]

This occured evertime when I arrived at Daggerfall and talked to an NPC outdoors:
The Dialogue window pops up and there is a fast loop of random greetings from that NPC, can not interact or even see the cursor anymore nor exit the window. The game also doesn't stop - I can still hear the weapon swing and footsteps.

This didn't happen on Stable 0.4 #98.

I have another bug too thats somehow similar with a dialogue menu not disappearing, but not all that critical.

When I talked to the barkeeper and asked for the room and declined the price I was out of the conversation (and the game continued) but the barkeeper menu didn't disappear and it still appeared in the middle of the screen. Not sure which version this was I guess #116 I didn't test it on the other ones.

It happened everytime I started a new game, with the main quest / starting dungeon activated and without it.

Since I do not have a mac I cannot test but maybe someone else might help. If I would have to guess I would say there is a problem with loading ConversationText.txt file on osx.

It usually works, not in Daggerfall though which is weird. Also the first line of dialogue appears and changes at a fast rate.

Can you record a video of it? I suppose as a secondary means that could help document the problem.

I just made a new installation to record it ... and this time it worked and I had no problems :)
Guess my game data was corrupt.

It's possible one of the quests was glitching out - this can have some bad follow on effects with talk UI as it's become very dependent on good data from the quest system.

I'm planning some work over the next few days to smooth some things out in the quest system that will hopefully improve this soon.

I myself also experienced this loop thing, but it is usually a byproduct of some other system failing and resulting in missing data used in talk interface, e.g. I had a typo in ConversationText.txt file once that made the loading fail and this ended up with this loopy thing
