Dinneri tower / Llugwych castle models

According to UESP wiki "Due to a bug, the Llugwych castle location re-uses the exterior model of Direnni Tower instead of the correct unique model"

And indeed, in DU the models of those two locations are currently the same.

My question is, will the correct model for Castle Llugwych be present in a DU at some stage? I ask also because of my retexture project... should I do a retexture of this currently unused model? And ofc, it would be nice to have the unused model ingame, for the sake of diversity. This thread is also to raise awareness of this.

PS: Any way to get into the Mantellan Crux fast, without completing the main quest? I need to get there to make a retexture...

This bad data is in the end user's copy of the game. If they're using the DaggerfallSetup version, I believe this is patched by one of the options. If I ever get permission to create a standalone build, I will ensure the data distributed is patched. For now, it's up to users to patch their copy of game because that's where the layout error is coming from.

You can find a quick way into the Crux by going to the ship and running over to the exterior entrance. You can just make out a large stone sticking above the water on the horizon from the deck of your ship. Run over to it and you can click right in. Otherwise I can help with a save. :)

Just a note - that standalone fix needs fallhack to be installed tho. So the easiest way for me to do it was to use daggerfall setup and just check that fix compilation by andy ;)

Here are the exterior results, it was just another generic castle before...
