Linux 22: Save files not immediately loadable [RESOLVED]

Linux Mint 17.3 MATE 64-bit.
I've been testing from a character I'm loading from classic. I made a modern save file with it. If I try to load my modern save file at boot, it doesn't appear. I have to load the classic save file first, and then if I go to the load screen, the modern save file will appear, but not sooner.
I think the loader is pointing at an inexistent save profile; it's asking for "Nameless," but it doesn't give me an option to change the character. My character, "Test," has to be selected by first loading a classic save file. I don't think this is intended behavior, right? I took screenshots here.
