Daggerfall Workshop Forums

Touchy subject due to the split opinions of using Discord for anything, but does a server exist on Discord for this site or for Daggerfall Unity at all?

Hi striker, welcome to the forums.

Discord looks like an interesting service, but I haven't had a use for it so far. Same goes for other real-time chat services like IRC, as my time zone is disparate to anyone in US or EU. When those time zones are most active, I'm usually at work, with family, or just asleep.

It's much easier for me to deal with the likes of Twitter and forums where questions can wait until I have time to answer properly.

That's actually a cool thing about Discord. You can make an account on their site and then join any server created under their App. Text logs are saved indefinitely and you can review everything when you log back into the app, or just use the server for everyone else to collaborate and then continue to ask you questions through Twitter and the likes.

Just a thought, however.

FYI - For IRC, you /could/ use a ZNC proxy.
