Sorry for the late reply! Life got in the way and I haven't even had a chance to play Daggerfall in a while.
I did my testing and despite it working perfectly I was unhappy with the incompatibility with current save games - You need to delete all your spells from the spellbook and buy them back as well as remove/re-equip all enchanted items. This problem means it felt too unfinished to release as a mod.

I already have ideas how to sort this so when I get time I will fix it. Once done, anyone could drop a icon-atlas file in a mod that requires my mod and it would replace all the icons without needing to code anything.
