Is my Main Quest Borked?

I have the Dust of Restful Death etc, but don't know where Lysandus' Tomb is.

I got the quest from Elysana to take her cousin to visit some guy, but he didn't tell me anything about the Totem, but was very surprised we'd found him and then ran off. And the quest in my journal was not marked as completed.

So I Teleported back to Wayrest and neither Elysana or Helseth will speak to me except to say they don't trust me.

What did I do wrong, and is there any way to get back on track?

The location of Lysandus' tomb is given by an agent of the Underking. To meet him, you have to first do Lhotun's, and then Akorithi's, quest in Sentinel.

Yes, I did all those. But no information on the tomb in Menevia and nothing on the map.

The Ancient Watcher - I got a Magickal Bracers (IIRC) as a reward for this. But no info and nothing in my Journal or notes.

My Paladin is level 12.

I did the quest for Eysana hoping to get Elysana's Robe and then Elysana's Betrayal, hoping it would reveal the location of the tomb. But nothing, and now she won't even talk to me.

I'm not sure if Mantella Revealed was completed, though. I just got a letter from Elysana, so I went to see her and got the quest to escort her cousin to someone who would fill me in.

But he scarpered.

And now I'm stuck. I've been to all three main Courts and either get normal NPC chat, a new, irrelevant side quest or they just ignore me. If they DO talk, and I ask them "Any News?" with Etiquette, they either act like I am their most loyal servant or ask me "Are all High Elves so nosy?"

And if I ask them for info about, EG the Blades or the King of Worms, they all say I am one of their most trusted servants. so they'll tell me. Even Gortwog.

But Helseth wouldn't let me speak and just said I'd have to prove he can trust me and now won't talk to me at all. Elysana has been mute since that geezer scarpered with her cousin.

Is there a way to force the quest again for The Ancient Watcher? I had to meet the Agent in Sentinel and then go to Castle Llugwych in Ykalon, so I set a Teleport mark to return so I wouldn't run out of time.

From checking my journal logs, it seems that Unity (and possibly original Daggerfall) uses different names for some of the quests than what is in The Daggerfall Chronicles.

So The Ancient Watcher quest to get info on the location of Lysandus' Tomb is called Stronghold of the Blades in my journal log. And I was given a Magickal Short Shirt, not Bracers.

I was given that quest on Fredas, 27 Sun's Dawn, 3E407, and completed it on 03 Rain's Hand, 3E407. The journal Log Notes say I have 295 days to find and return the Short Shirt, which I already did. It's now 05 Evening Star 3E408, so it was over a year ago in game time.

I was dumped off the ship on Middas, 04 Morning Star, but it doesn't say the year.

I saw Lady Brisienna on Turdas (what a daft name for a day!) 26 Morning Star according to the Journal, but the Log Notes say it was ended on 02 Sun's Dawn, 3E405, in white and underneath in yellow says Turdas 26 Morning Star. I don't know why there's a 6 day difference in the date I saw her and the date that quest ended. Maybe the 26 Morning Star is the date I got the quest, and I went to see her straight away?

It's a shame the actual Journal doesn't have the year.

And although quite often the quests say "This Guy of that Temple in this town gave me a quest to end the haunting of this other guy's house in that town over there", it often doesn't. For Example, Stronghold of the Blades (The Ancient Watcher) does not say where the Underking's Agent actually is for returning the Short Shirt. But I'm sure I did that via a Teleport mark, and the Log Notes say I did it over a year ago.

I'll attach the guide I use for the Main Quest, adapted from The Daggerfall Chronicles. I've done all the relevant quests, including Elysana's Betrayal, which gave me no information or map markers for the Tomb. Now I need to get Lysandus' Revelation started.
