Recently I've tried to complete the Fighter's Guild Quest "Standard Protection Job". But I think I ran into a bug wherein after I find the letter from the deceased client the game won't let me ask around for the location of the Dark Brotherhood assassin mentioned in the letter, only the client who's already dead. Has anyone else experienced the same issue? I would greatly appreciate some help.

Are you using the "Tell Me About" option in the top-left? It's in a different section from the typical "Where is" questions you usually ask.

Oh no, I was using the usual Where is...? dialogue option, but the Tell Me About... option seems to work. Thank you so much!
