I have the viewable skill progress mod, and noticed that if you hold down Shift while standing still, you still get running xp. It also seems to work while swimming, even if you aren't moving.

I think swimming is fine, provided player is actually in water. I think they should probably be moving for running to count though.

I'll move this to issues for someone to look at in future.
