I thought Daggerfall's dungeons were supposed to be big /s

I know it's probably possible for the quest objective to be even closer to the entrance, but this is the closest I've seen.

Choice. One time I got a random quest to rescue an NPC from a dungeon. Spent maybe an hour in it, it was one of the more complex water dungeons. At the end it turned out he was in the starting block just one level directly up (or maybe down) from the entrance!

I love how one of the more common quests is to rescue someone who got lost in a dungeon, because you can see how that would be a common occurrence in this universe.
