Why don't languages work in dungeons?

Post by Tamalak »

I've slowly realized that languages are even more useless than they first appear. I have NEVER gotten a proc in a dungeon and I've finally realized that they don't work there.

I'm sure this was inherited from the legacy version of the game but the dev team has made other obvious improvements (such as using the terrain elevation for the overworld map), so why not this?

Language skills do work, unless you have some weird combination of mods effecting this, not sure what you are experiencing.

Also, note that having your weapon drawn lowers chance of pacification.

Do Streetwise and Etiquette work for pacification of human enemies in vanilla too, or was it introduced in DFU only?
