My game has broken

When the game is launched all i see on the screen is the cursor and the back drop i hear no music and theres no menu on screen

There are not even nearly enough details to answer your question.

1. Is it a clean install? Update?
2. What version of the DFU do you use?
3. What OS do you use?
4. Where did you get the original Daggerfall files?
5. Do you have mods installed?
6. Did you try to clean up (delete) config folders, like "AppData\LocalLow\Daggerfall Workshop\Daggerfall Unity" folder in Windows?

Hey there. A common solution for game not starting (freeze on splash, black screen, etc.) is to delete your settings.ini file (how to locate). A corrupted settings file is known to cause problems like this.

If that doesn't help, some more info like Jagget mentions above would be helpful.

That was the issue thanks. Sorry for lack of information i was attempting to install a mod when it happened
