Please test with a clean set of game data, such as a default install of DaggerfallSetup, or known-good DaggerfallGameFiles.zip from Live Builds. Cheers. :)
Just tested it with a clean setup and now the bug isn't occurring. Apologies, I should have tried that before making this post. :?

0.7.65 MobilePersonBillboard IndexOutOfRangeException

When walking around a town the game will sometimes throw an exception. I am able to reproduce this most reliably by going to Daggerfall City and walking to the outside corner of the city walls. Note that I do have AndyFall ( https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:AndyFall ) installed which alters the s...

Re: Video Thread

Of course he found a character creation bug in the game right off the bat. If you go back and change your skills they go way down in points. See video. I'm trying to list bugs like I did before for Steep videos, I'm currently 1 hour in, so I'm far from done... I'll create a new thread by then, but ...

Modifying the way NPCs give directions

When you ask commoners for directions in a town the quickest way to find a building is to ask them repeatedly until they mark it on your map. Therefore, that's what I usually end up doing. Arena was actually able to avoid this by only having the townsfolk mark the exact location if you're sufficient...

OBS records jerkily while in dungeons

I use OBS for recording/streaming and I noticed it doing something strange while recording DFU. When I'm in the overworld, in a town, or even inside a building the recording playback is nice and smooth. However, whenever I go into a dungeon OBS starts dropping frames like crazy. The game never runs ...

Re: Build #139 - NPCs Won't Give Any Info (new character biography related)

Well, we certainly can’t have players getting discouraged just because they picked the wrong bio option. I’ll whip up a random reaction roll system to mimic vanilla.

EDIT: I posted a PR for this here: https://github.com/Interkarma/daggerfal ... /pull/1125

Armor Rating Confusion

Apologies if this has been asked before. I'm noticing that the defense bonuses for armor pieces are different from classic. Leather grants +3, iron grants +7, and steel+9 in DFU. In classic it appears that leather grants +1, iron grants +3, and steel grants +4. Further adding to my confusion is this...

Re: Book prices

Thanks, Allofich! Interesting that the "price" value isn't factored into the books' prices at all. I got that tidbit from UESP. Either the field is for something else (I can't imagine what) or Bethesda decided not to use it. Either way, much appreciated.
