Re: Our band's debut went well!
I don't know that it's living the band life for me, haha! I'm the youngest at 39. The others are a bit older, and we're pretty much going to stick to doing the local gigs once or twice a month. Our bass player is the only real career musician, and he's fairly well known in some circles. For me, it i...

Our band's debut went well!
We had a good night last Saturday (Feb 2nd). It was our (Blackjack Rose) debut gig at The Grape Room in Manayunk (near Philly). Attendance records for an opening band were broken. We managed to get 60 people show up!!! Awesome sauce! We had a great crowd, good response from the crowd, and most of al...

Re: Daggerfall Remastered Music Project (Released)
Odd, I didn't have any issues with the files playing with the 0.7.32 update either. I also have Pango's updated sound effects (the .wav files) in the same folder with my .OGG song files, and everything seems to be working. Could the DFUnity zip become corrupted during download? Maybe try downloading...

Re: [MOD] Cleaned SoundClips
Yeah, surgical operations on audio tracks aren't for the faint of heart, and can be real tricky to get right.
Anyway, the new rain sound does the job. Thank goodness for creative commons!!!

Re: [MOD] Cleaned SoundClips
Gotcha, I see what you were saying. Hmm, well, there are methods to lengthen the rain sound. You can invert and/or reverse the wave form of the clip, and append them to the end of the sound clip to lengthen the track in a less structured way. It would seem a little less looped that way, and you'd ha...

Re: [MOD] Cleaned SoundClips
As a temporary fix for the thunder sound, try layering rain on top of the thunder sound for the length of the thunder track. You may need to trim the rain sound to fit, and there may or may not be a hitch as the thunder sound loads. (I'm guessing not since they're small files) Also, for the rain loo...

Re: Daggerfall Remastered Music Project (Released)
Thanks, and no worries! When you find time, pop em into the Sounds folder, and see what you think. As I mentioned, some of the pauses are a little longer: 8 to 10 seconds before the music restarts as the counter approaches the end of the file. I should check all the dungeon tracks in game, (which is...

Re: Daggerfall Remastered Music Project (Released)
Hi ifkopifko, I'd say, try it out in game if you haven't. I think others would attest that the remastered tracks don't break immersion with the pauses. None of the pauses (to my knowledge) are any more than a few to several seconds, and that's by design in the original midi files. I can go double ch...
