Re: Sudden restart of PC

My thoughts are likely PSU, I really don't think what you experienced is bad ram, but it doesn't hurt to test. Could be the overclock was drawing more power from the PSU, and didn't like that after 10 years, haha. 10 years is a pretty damn long time for a computer PSU. At least not all of your compo...

Re: Add music to game menu

I agree the menu screen needs something. But I'm not really a fan of bombastic music on most menu screens, but I suppose it depends on the aesthetic. I always liked the adventurous music in say, GW and GW2 at character select. But I'm also a fan of more subdued tracks for game menus. For the scroll ...

Re: New house, new room.

Thanks! It's a pretty decent back yard, and a decent neighborhood, quite a bit of flora around, including some spearmint and hydrangeas around the shed in the back. Eventually we want to replace the grass lawn with a thyme ground cover like elfin or creeping thyme :) We also want to put in a patio w...

New house, new room.

So I've been a little out of touch the past couple weeks. We closed on our house, so it's been a busy couple of weeks! Pre-move, actual move, cleaning the old place for final walkthrough, and unpacking. Oh, also building the new desk for the new upstairs "studio" room. It's a hefty 5ft x 3ft desk ma...

Re: [MOD] Vanilla MIDI OST - Music on a Roland Sound Canvas 55 V1.0

I'm glad the info in my project helped point you in the right direction on getting you project started!

And, sorry for not responding sooner. We just closed on our house on the 26th, so as you can imagine, it's been a pretty busy past couple of weeks!

Re: Roads of Daggerfall

In the case of Tamriel, and the extensive spell creation within the era of Daggerfall, I don't see why not as far as magic being used to create tunnels. Surely some mages could be able to create a spell to carve out earth. Certainly not out of the realm of possibility, but I don't know how detailed ...

Re: Roads of Daggerfall

Looking at the big picture. The problem is more or less solved with regards to a flat map. Main roads connect large cities and large towns. Smaller but still paved roads branch off to connect to smaller, unwalled towns, If a Town is very close to the main road, it's possible the main road could simp...

Re: Daggerfall Remastered Music Project (Released)

My guess is it's simple file compression, being packed into the dfmod package. Like packing the files similar to zip or rar compression and shouldn't affect the audio when the file is called up by the game. So it's probably going to be fine. It's not the same as what happens when rendering or using ...

Re: Daggerfall Remastered Music Project (Released)

Well, we do gig about once a month. Though ideally we'd like to get to doing a 3 week rotation. Thanks to our drummer Barry inviting many of his friends who wanted to see him back with another band (He also plays with the Fralingers String Band....Mummers Parade, etc. here in Philly), so we had 60+ ...

Re: Daggerfall Remastered Music Project (Released)

Our band does a fairly decent variety of styles, but most of it has elements of pop and prog rock. Me and the guitarist both write songs. He tends toward the pop side (think Genesis) and I tend toward more modern styles, but also hearken back to the 70's proggy kind of stuff. (e.g. King Crimson) We ...
