They also at Morrowind bit recommended Morrowind Overhaul modpack which is a poorly made and outdated garbage.
They don't really care about proper research.

Here's what bothers me about weapon animations - they are too linear. They wouldn't hurt anyone that way.
What they need is anticipation phase (preparing to swing), easing in/out, arcs and recovery phase (after active attack).

These ambient sounds are pretty cool!
They replace music, but I wasn't fan of it anyway. Would be cool to make music independent ambient sound mod though.

Realistically your opponent should dodge based on their dodge skill, block with their shield, have blows deflect off armor, etc. How would you even animate that?
