Can be closed as duplicate then.

I didn't notice shelves had the same issue as loot piles, but I suppose it's the same root cause.

If you're using mods, it may be a duplicate of viewtopic.php?f=24&t=1984

With your save, and in the direction you're facing, I do experience some low fps. But it depends a lot on mods.

No mods: 260 fps
Fully modded: 31 fps

(obtained using "tdbg" in the console; and with vsync disabled)

... and to mimic what is done in several other RPGs, when you hover on some equipment in the inventory, also show the characteristic of the matching equipped item for side-by-side comparison...

The question is, how to not obstruct the whole screen with massive tooltips :?
