Re: Slight change for conversations?

What I always found interesting as a teenager was how they would never mark a location on your map if you were asking from inside a building. For example, if you arrived to a town at night and there was nobody outside to ask, you would find yourself asking folks inside a tavern. But, while they coul...

Re: Nerf the run skill

When I was younger, I'd sometimes make characters that had running as a primary skill and jumping as a major skill, and then I would literally just run and jump around the starting cave room until I was level 4. Between those two skills, some climbing on that brace between the cave and the hallway, ...

Re: Not sure if bug - How do you climb past overhangs? [Advanced Climbing System]

I'd figured as much :D Just wanted to give corroboration that you should indeed be able to climb past the overhangs in a true-to-classic climbing implementation, so hopefully it gets sorted out! I'm in the middle of a DOS playthrough as we speak, so I wanted to lend a helping hand. I've always been ...

Re: Not sure if bug - How do you climb past overhangs?

I double-checked how it worked in the DOS version. I was able to climb past the standard overhangs on Daggerfall-model houses with no problems! I have a measly 14 climbing skill, although I do have the Athleticism perk. I can't imagine the perk being the deciding factor. I was not, however, able to ...

That mention about jumping from rooftop to rooftop! I can't tell you how happy that made me :D

What an outrageously hype-laden update. You're all doing such great work!

Re: Updated Builds August 2018

Exciting update! Fun but nigh-meaningless statistics: -The Main Roadmap to Alpha has 119 items to address. -91 items are Feature Complete! A further 11 are Almost Complete. -This means that 76.5% of the mechanics are Feature Complete. - 85.7% of the roadmap is either Complete or Almost Complete! -On...

It's great to hear that you're coming out the other end now. Here's to getting out for some rides soon :D I'm hoping to teach myself enough to contribute...

Re: KoW - Daggerfall Remaster 3.0

That is one incredibly suave-looking load menu! The three differences I could find were the fancy side flourishes on either side of the savegame's screen capture, the more defined border lines for the savegame scroll bar, and a border around the Delete Save button! I was never any good at this :mrgr...

Re: Tiny Candle and little Box on a rafter?

I loved the little things like this that you could find in the game! The thing is, they weren't just limited to main quest dungeons. All the time, if you went poking at random objects in dungeons, you would end up teleporting somewhere. Like on top of rafters. Here is footage of me from years ago (N...
