only other thing i can think of is to make sure that you have Asset Injection turned on in the options. If it's not that, then I don't know :/

The mod still works for me. What platform are you on? If you're on Linux, the folder name is case sensitive, and you may need to try different capitalizations, like img or IMG. If those don't work... then I don't know :(

This is gonna be an interesting can of worms. Tbh, I don't entirely see DFU becoming the default way to speedrun. While the original is obviously more prone to crashing, it also has a larger number of time saving glitches than DFU does. Honestly, I kinda see it that either the original engine remain...

I'd like to know if sprites are still disappearing with compressed textures on. That's something I'd like to fix before I move on from this project. They do not.
