This was a problem in the original version by Bethesda. The best fix was done years ago by a fan as a modification of a file in the arena2 folder. It might be some particular weird quirk in my installation for all I know. Regardless, its not a critical bug by any means. Thank you for your and other developers work as always.

Works for me, and has worked for a while (but there has been some modifications on that code about 2 months ago, did blood splatters stop working for you between 0.7.120 and the next release, probably 0.7.145?) Upon hitting an enemy with a weapon they no longer emit a blood splatter sprite to indicate a successful hit. Upon consideration, I don't think I've seen the spatter for a few versions now. I remember Childguard in Classic may have had this effect, but I have not enabled anything like that - nor do...

Just adding to data with my anecdotal experience: 1) Identical treasure piles should be very rare in classic Daggerfall and Daggerfall Unity. 2) Identically chosen quest locations should happen, but rarely. Its mostly noticeable if you spend A LOT of time in one province. I'd just heed Interkarma's ...
