Did you seen fallout 4? Well, a lot of it's inventions like perk system instead of RPG skills system is what we will get most probably.

I want to add that battlespire yse differend 3d models for sprites as I remember, more detailed and you will notice clear difference with daggerfall ones
However style of battlespire is nice,I kinda want mod that make not super hd graphics, but battlespire level of detalisation

I can see a mod that replaces 2d dead enemies with 3d model + flies + blood decal on terrain, that would be great. I still hope for diferent 8 sprites for every directions that changes when you rotate corpse :D Good work on this mod! It cool to see how from basic it become big and compkex addition ...

Awesome screenshots! It obviously seen that it use more like arena-style building placement and honestely it feel more alive then final game

About sprites - they can be reverse-drawed from scrach if there will be talanted people interested in it
