Re: (Vibrant) NPC Flats

The updated art looks great! However as far as the sprite framing is concerned, the man is resting the lute on his leg in the original, because you cant play a guitar in the air without a strap. :P So strumming and maneuvering the fret would be impossible unless you had a third hand to hold the gui...

Re: (Vibrant) Terrain Flats

Guys, i'm going to take a hiatus for a bit.
My work\life balance is not so good today and with the spare time I have i have to spend on other stuff.
I won't be far though, and am always contactable via my website.

Re: NPC Flats

This is something i've been toying with. An animated flat, though i'm not posting any animated frames. I'm not happy with the frames i've done, but wanted to at least offer this first frame to the community. Yes i did make changes, the original one holds the guitar rather low and he strums where the...

Re: Post Processing Effects

Looks cool! Though I don't see any difference in FXAA and DoF screenshots. I would also like to have a HDR, lens flares and sunrays like in this screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/BIy3GZR.jpg (and also be able to add height maps for terrain textures, but thats for another topic) What's that from? Witc...

Re: (Vibrant) Terrain Flats

All the work you've posted so far continues to look great - just get back to it when you can! In the meantime, can you please confirm that the latest version of your terrain flat textures are included in AlexanderSig's mod here - http://forums.dfworkshop.net/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=577 (the mod is als...

I'm still here.
Much less progress of late as my life has gotten more thorny.
I have all the stones of the Desert set done and most of a large tree.

I detoured to a animated NPC flat but am not particularly happy with results so that has taken some wind out of my sails.

jman0war wrote:Yeah the snow texures and snow piles look great.

I could imagine a collision plane several cm beneath the actual surface so the person's feet are sunken in.
Then maybe a particle effect around each foot stomp.
Then a decal foot-print left behind that decays over time? ;)
Wrong thread!
Sorry
