Lacus, this was the case for a long time, as far back as I remember. Its not caused by the recent version. Sorry for not being specific enough :oops: I was worried my changes introduced some unexpected results, i'm glad this is not the case :) I believe the look of mipmaps is due to a shader issue ...

the trenches is a workaround to otherwise possible holes in the terrain, are you using a modded TerrainScale? Those mountains are higher than they should be in the desert :/
