I've made a rudimentary edit to the RaceTemplate file, which I believe is the correct file the race data is stored in. I'm about to start working on my first mod ever (with no coding experience, so this will be new to me). I want to take the racial passives and skills of future games and make a mod that uses the Advantage and Disadvantage system to make all races have these automatically, like how vanilla High Elves...

02:56:13 classic (mouse movement) attack needs larger movements than in classic? I also notice this, for combat. In Daggerfall Unity I practically need the full mousepad to make an attack, while back when I played classic, much smaller movements were enough. Maybe the code is the same and the diffe...

Aside from the "weakness to disease/poison/paralysis, immunity to magic" exploit (which they fixed), they intend to leave everything else as close to vanilla as possible. Honestly, if you want all of this, this could very well be a mod that you could share with the rest of the community.

I personally wouldn't mind making her a Dark Elf if only for the occasional visual variety. If you mean from a lore perspective, the I think it's easy enough to separate the beliefs of an individual from their culture. If you mean fine from a purist perspective... then I got nothing :p

That sprite has always bothered me. I know it's classic, but the red eyes make it feel like she's meant to be a Dark Elf, but that the artist made a mistake due to the tight development cycle. Maybe that's just me, though. shrugs
