Re: [MOD] Post Processing Effects

is there a way to make reflections a bit less hard?
It depends on the smoothness value of the particular material, so it's up to the modder how hard the reflection is.

Re: [MOD] Post Processing Effects

are you sure UseLegacyDeferred is disabled in settings? I have that option disabled. Your screenshot looks excellent! I'm wondering if the smoothness on my materials are just too low. I'll do some testing and see. Thanks! Update: I increased the smoothness a little and started to notice the reflect...

Re: [MOD] Post Processing Effects

Oh you're right. I hadn't seen the option in there. Yeah, when I enable it, it doesn't seem to add screen space reflections. In other Unity projects, it adds reflections to surfaces proportional to that material's smoothness at that pixel but it doesn't seem to be working yet . Of course it still re...

Re: PBR Materials for classic textures

Thanks for the GDF of the textures!

I would also like the GDF for the sprites!

Thanks!

Re: [MOD] Post Processing Effects

Hey TheLacus! I really like Nystul's realtime reflection mod. It looks great with the vanilla textures, but it looks out of place once you add normal maps because the reflected pixels don't seem to consider any PBR textures other than the metallic map. screen space reflections on the other hand look...

Re: My modding projects / introduction

I'll add some updates periodically to the Creator's Corner once there's something cool to show :D Very cool! I'm looking forward to seeing updates on this! I'm fairly proficient with C# so I'll be glad to help you out with any coding advice too! Thanks! I may take you up on that! :) Oh, and welcome...

Re: PBR Materials for classic textures

Oh Unity is not a problem for me. I'm a game developer full time so I've plenty of experience. Excellent! Our community could definitely benefit from your experience. :P Those are some really neat looking material you show in your video. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on your Project Tremors gam...

Re: [MOD] Pure Vanilla Extract

They're not great, but here are the wereboar upscales. I'm afraid I don't have time to apply the masks and all that.

Re: PBR Materials for classic textures

One thing I've noticed is that the MG texture does work if I remove the normal map. Is this a bug? There could be an issue with asset injection using loose files, maybe? Currently I'm using the RGB channels for Gloss, and the Alpha channel for Metallic. According to how you described your metallic ...

Re: [MOD] Pure Vanilla Extract

Looks pretty slick! As for the Werewolf / Wereboar MOB sprites, I could have sworn I upscaled the wereboar and included it... it gets so hard to keep track of everything when there's so many frames and so many versions. I have folders stuffed with 4x, 8x, front facing, sharpened, masked, tweaked, fi...
