Re: [MOD] Buff/Debuff Icons

OK, I wanted for it to be packed as a separate dfmod, but use the same naming structure as other DREAM packages. Maybe called "dream - spell icons(69).dfmod" so it can be included in DREAM but can also be used as a standalone. Now, I just need some help learning how to create .dfmod files. At this p...

Re: [MOD] Discrete Crosshair

The cursor is packed in the assets files for the game. In the repository, it is in "daggerfall-unity\Assets\Resources\", Cursor.png and Cursor2.png. I'm not really sure which one is used but I replaced both and rebuilt DFU and the ugly cursor was replaced with this : Gauntlet.png This cursor is from...

Yes, you're right. Eye yellow, skin green, background red. If you ask me what should be the main focus, I'd say -the Eye. :P
OK, I'll base this as the Yellow version and recolor from there. Let's see what comes out :)

Abstract 32: https://i.imgur.com/7xGAaeo.png https://i.imgur.com/emOrTmf.png https://i.imgur.com/0vWWNMr.png What would you say is the main color of this icon? I see Yellow for the iris, green for the contour of the eye and red for the background. For the recolors, it's better if I know what is con...

Re: [MOD] Buff/Debuff Icons

Great work on that icon atlas! Wow, oh boy 180? lol :) Oh, you didnt included rune icons? Those could easily fit in. Or there's limited space? PS - use imgur for the larger size images on the forum. No limitation on space in the atlas. The loading code is very clever and makes no assumptions about ...

Re: [MOD] Buff/Debuff Icons

Well, here's a version of the Spell Icons Atlas with 180 icons. Tested in my custom build and working fine. If you can build DFU and want to try, use my branch of DFU at https://github.com/Alyndiar/daggerfall-unity . This HUGE file needs to go in DaggerfallUnity/DaggerfallUnity_Data/StreamingAssets/...

Re: Changing number of spell icons

Talking of this, DaggerfallSpellMerchantWindow.cs should probably be removed, it's almost 2 years old dead code (from what I can tell), and contains obsolete assumptions about icons sizes, etc. Got worried for a minute for spell icons modding when I stumbled upon it. Somewhat related, could someone...

Re: Changing number of spell icons

return spellIcons[index % spellIcons.Count]; Yep, that's sensible and is a clever way to solve the issue of player uninstalling an icon pack mod. Just having it fall back on something in the classic icon range is enough. I'm happy to take a PR for this or just quickly make that change on your behal...
