Once you have new build, the fix will ideally just place item properly when you load the game and you can "tele2qitem" to grab it.

Worst-case, you might have to exit and re-enter dungeon to grab it. I'll let you know once I work out what's actually failing.

What I'm thinking is just a console command to clear empty corpses. Prester Lewin can then loot the bodies and run the console command to delete them. At some point, the quest system will be fixed to clear bodies once the quest is completed. This might have impact on the cache manager, but it's not ...

I had a quick look at this. Letter is being spawned correctly in scene by quest, but is not in correct location. This is a fairly recent regression. The good news is I should be able to fix this so letter is aligned with marker correctly again and you're able to complete quest. I'll try to get a new...

Quest spawns do not currently get cleared at end of quest, that's a limitation/bug in quest system at this time. From the sounds of it, the world serialisation system has made those bodies permanent as your house is a zone where loot containers are persisted, and lootable corpses are just gory loot ...

I'll take a look at the save and issue a hotfix to help shortly. :)

I'm interested to find out why quest not working now. This is a fairly strait forward place item mechanic. I'll make this one a priority after work today.

Based on the quest script itself, I would consider this resolving a limitation in classic rather than a bug in DFU. :) As I mentioned in that older thread, I'd be happy to hardcode the behaviour if people find this really important.
