Wow, how does SFTGAN know the horse's eye should actually be an eye, with round pupil and gleam and all, from only six pixels? I use neural networks at my job but I never stop being amazed.

I think it's nice that the spellbook exists. If you want to roleplay a character with a no-magic restriction, you can just drop it (and even make a point of dropping it!). It's an easy way to enforce the restriction.

For what it's worth, I played Daggerfall back in its era (on a Pentium 120, IIRC) and I distinctly remember that the running skill was much easier to raise than the rest. I never saw it as a problem - at most an oddity, but I was quite happy about it as cities were large and I ran a lot in them. By ...

They do look awesome! Does the fact that they come from preloaded models make you able to show them in more angles in game for extra realism, or is this a limitation of the engine regardless of the sprites that are used? From your photos it looks like the former but it sounds too good to be true so ...
