Re: Splash screen
I think that splash screen looks gorgeous. The intro video is also great but they are different things and not mutually exclusive, right? The splash screen is supposed to be shown during the time that the game unavoidably takes to load, while the intro video has a fixed (longer) duration but should ...

Re: Daggerfall Remaster w/future builds
I don't really know much about the technical issues you are discussing. But I think I will speak for most of the community if I say that the work both of you are doing is invaluable. You're both AWESOME. Misunderstandings between people with different backgrounds are common, I see many at work. But ...

Re: No respawning dungeons
I don't think it should be out of the question as a mod in 2018. Games often take tens of gigabytes now. I would install that mod!

Re: Macro handlers and how to add them
"Home province wilderness" (which could resolve to forest, swamps, desert, tundra, mountains, etc.) could make sense there.

Re: [MOD]Shut those damn crickets up!
I have always found them very realistic and atmospheric too. And the feeling of relief when you finally find the dungeon exit after hours of crawling and you emerge to a peaceful night with those crickets! It's great that the game is so customizable though.

Re: On intro video
Oh my!!! I made these textures 8 years ago and never noticed that! Well, I've never read it actually. The bad news is that it took me several months to render the sequence on my PC, so I have no intentions to rerender even that little part which could take almost a week. Let's consider that an east...

Re: On intro video
The video is absolutely amazing, but yeah, I agree with Deepfighter. In fact I didn't know about the official text (I don't think I was even able to read that text in the low-res original version of the video, was that even possible in any machine?) but I noticed the name "Qwerty" (with obvious orig...

Re: New Quest actions - enhancing classic
I think it's this text that gave me the idea that smuggling is in game: http://www.tesguides.com/tes2/misc/legaltip.htm "Smuggling: A possibility when engaged in some of the shadier quests given by nobles and merchants." But maybe it's not true. I don't remember experiencing it (not that I did noble...

Re: New Quest actions - enhancing classic
While this topic is here, I'd make a suggestion (for the future) of being able to trigger crime penalties as a quest action. For example, after injuring a quest NPC, the town guard can be activated for an Assault charge; or for entering a building, a Trespassing charge could issue. Everything would...

It was permanent. And you could sell the item for gold and everything.Ziune Wolf wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 5:40 pmAlthough, I am unsure if create item, as functional in classic, was temporary or permanent to begin with. I hardly used it.
