First-person Weapon Sprites

Talk about the mods you'd like to see in Daggerfall Unity. Give mod creators some ideas!

New version available on Nexus. I finally packed mod into dfmod file.

Currently done:

Longsword (FPP and Inventory)
Shortsword (Inventory only)
Broadsword (Inventory only)
Daikatana (Inventory only)
Claymore (Inventory only)
Staff (FPP and Inventory)
Battle Axe (FPP and Inventory)
Long Bow (FPP and Inventory)
Short Bow (Inventory only) by @bearhead

This is brilliant. It makes such a difference to the immersion factor of the game. Also, thank you so much for packaging it up into a dfmod file, I really appreciate it. :)

Thanks! I just added short bows too. Version 0.4.5 is live now. If you have any suggestions on what I should do next, go ahead.

fantastic work.

at some point can the hand and arm change to reflect armor?

Even just change the colors for a quick fix

Unfortunately not, just like in original, hand is always the same. Maybe sometime some coder will figure out how to add mask to colorize part of sprite and use it for another layer of variation including armor.

Another update is available. Currently only flails left to do and I'll have all technically possible weapon covered. Other weapons will have to wait for an DFU update so I can do FPS animations for different types od blades, axes etc.
