Windows/64 #50 (#127) Lightspeed info text

Post by VMblast »

Im not sure that this was feature in the original game, but still, just wanted to drop this one here as I think it is somewhat important for gameplay.

The Info text that shows at the center top of the screen disappears way too quickly. For example, the name of the place you're entering you can read it...but just barely. Any longer text is lost.

PS -I cant remember, if there were log feature in the original game, where every info was recorded.

Hey mate! I appreciate the report, but this is reasonably matched to classic. Changing it would fall more into the modding/enhancement side of things than a bug report. :)

Ok thanks, I wasn't sure about that. Anw, my suggestion this should be changed a bit, through mod ofc, as you've mentioned. It should be slower, so player can read it. ;)

... or some scrollbuffer that you can check if you missed some message.
Because in some other conditions (say, you're in a town, using "info" on each building in sight looking for a residence), slow message display could also become an issue.
